Ananda Salai Vibathilla Covai, The world's Largest Road Safety Campaign - successfully conducted at the VOC Park Grounds Coimbatore on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December 2010. A total of 54 pavilions were installed detailing various road rules. Special pavilions arranged with - RTO - Driving Institute - 108 First Aid - Eye Screening - Insurance - Hospitals - Postal department - Book stall. 49 Traffic Wardens along with 4350 RSP students conducted the campaign. 68,951 students from school, 28,300 students from colleges and 4,300 public totaling 1,01,551 people attended the campaign. 19,102 students participated in 21 District Level Road Safety Competitions. 3800 Road Safety Champ Awards were distributed to all winners of "On Spot Competitions". 22 School Pupil Leaders were invited and honored. 40 State Level Achievers were recognised and awarded. All participants made a promise towards an accident free Coimbatore.
